On Friday the 4th of June, Jetse Siebenga and Annelies de Koning organized an information session for the current first year students of Urban Studies. Thanks to the easing of corona restrictions, the session was organized in a lecture room at the Wijnhaven building. Students who couldn’t make it to the campus, had the possibility to follow it via a live stream or watch the video afterwards.

The session informed the students on the second year of Urban Studies, in which they have to choose thematic and methodological electives. By means of video pitches, made by the lecturers, the attendees heard more about the content of these courses and the possible study paths within the bachelor programme.

After the information session, the students attended the last meeting with their student mentor on campus as well. And again, those who couldn’t be there physically could stream this meeting. With a drink and a snack the students concluded their first year of Urban Studies, before heading for the sun outside and their summer holidays.
